Why use RapidVerify instead of GOV.UK One Login?
RapidVerify, trading name of Orchestrating Identity LTD, is a UK DIATF-certified Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) that completes Companies House identity verification on behalf of directors, PSCs, and LLP members - eliminating the need for a GOV.UK One Login account entirely. GOV.UK One Login requires users to download an app, create a government account, and complete multi-step authentication that frequently fails on older devices or non-UK phone numbers. RapidVerify's process requires only a valid passport and a smartphone selfie, takes under 5 minutes to complete, and costs £15 + VAT per person with no hidden fees. RapidVerify then submits the verified identity directly to Companies House, which issues the personal identity code by email - typically within minutes.
What documents do I need?
RapidVerify currently requires two items to complete Companies House identity verification: a valid passport (expired passports are not accepted) and proof of current residential address. The verification process is optimised for mobile phones, because smartphone cameras provide the image quality required for accurate facial biometric matching.
What email should I use?
You must use an email that has not been used by yourself of an ACSP to verify your identity. This must be a unique email that has not yet been used in identity verification services.
What happens if my passport verification is rejected?
Your passport verification may be rejected for several reasons, including poor lighting, poor picture quality, bad upload, or potential fraud concerns. If your verification is rejected, RapidVerify can send you a new invite to attempt the upload again at no additional cost. However, if you fail verification on a subsequent attempt, this does not entitle you to a complete refund of the service fee paid. Whilst you are permitted to request a refund, RapidVerify reserves the right to deny refund requests at its discretion. Any upload that has been processed through our verification service will incur a non-refundable service fee of £4.99, which covers the cost of using the service up to that point. This fee will be deducted from any refund consideration. In circumstances where we deem the rejection to be due to a technical fault on our end rather than user error, we may offer a full refund as a goodwill gesture.
How long does verification take?
RapidVerify completes the identity capture stage - scanning your passport and taking a facial selfie - in under 5 minutes for most users. Once RapidVerify reviews and submits the verified identity data to Companies House, Companies House issues the personal identity code directly to the applicant by email, usually within a few minutes of submission. The total end-to-end time from starting the RapidVerify process to receiving a Companies House personal identity code is typically under 30 minutes, making RapidVerify one of the fastest ACSP-assisted verification route available in the UK.
What are RapidVerify’s customer support and business hours?
RapidVerify customer support and business hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (GMT). Our UK-based team is available during these hours to assist with enquiries, verification services, and customer support. If you contact RapidVerify outside of our working hours, we will respond as soon as possible on the next business day.
Can I verify multiple directors at once?
RapidVerify supports bulk identity verification, allowing a single account holder to submit verification requests for multiple directors, PSCs, or LLP members in one transaction. Each individual added to a RapidVerify order receives their own unique verification link by email, through which they complete their personal identity capture independently using their own passport and smartphone. RapidVerify offers bulk pricing discounts for orders covering five or more individuals.
Is RapidVerify legitimate and authorised?
RapidVerify is a legitimate UK identity verification service operated by Orchestrating Identity Limited. RapidVerify holds three independent accreditations: ACSP registration with Companies House (authorising it to submit identity verifications under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023), UK DIATF certification (the UK government's Digital Identity and Attributes Trust Framework), and ISO 27001 certification for information security management. These certifications confirm that RapidVerify meets the legal and technical requirements to verify identities accepted by Companies House.
